Spotlight on Excellence: Goldfins Swimmers of the Month for October 2026

The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club is proud to announce the Swimmers of the Month program for 2026, celebrating athletes who show exceptional commitment, enthusiasm, and resilience. Each month, swimmers who embody these traits will be recognized. Excellence in swimming is not just about speed or wins but also perseverance, positivity, and team inspiration.
Swimmers of the Month are chosen for their pool performance, sportsmanship, leadership, and team spirit. They serve as role models, demonstrating that success in swimming combines skill, mindset, and teamwork.
This program highlights diverse talents and strengths, fostering a supportive community. It reflects the club's dedication to nurturing each swimmer's potential, valuing their journey as much as their achievements.
October 2026
Aliyah Aubut (G3P) - Aliyah has had a fantastic start to the season, recently achieving her Best of the West qualifying time in the 200m Backstroke at the 50th Goldfins Invitational! This is a great accomplishment so early in the season and a reflection of her compiled hard work since last season.
She never stops challenging herself, continuing to set higher goals, and pushing beyond what she believes she can achieve. She believes that there is so much more she can accomplish and will continue to lead by example, inspire and motivate her teammates every day.
Congratulations, Aliyah! Be proud of what you've achieved but never stop striving for what's next. Keep raising the bar and bring your teammates along with you!

Dejan Jarcan (G3N) - Congratulations to Dejan on an outstanding October! Dejan achieved perfect attendance throughout the month, demonstrating a commitment to consistency and improvement. At the Goldfins Invitational, he recorded personal best times in an impressive 90% of his events! What has been particularly impressive is the intention he brings to every practice. Rather than simply showing up, Dejan approaches each session with purpose, focus, and a desire to get better. His consistency, dedication, and purposeful approach to training are great examples of the habits that lead to long-term success. Congratulations, Dejan! Keep up the fantastic work!
