Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club Kicks Off Month of Championships
The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club is set to begin an exciting month of championships at the 2024 RODS Winter Solstice swim meet, taking place on November 29 and December 1, 2024. This annual December competitive event will see 39 Goldfins swimmers travel to Regina, SK, to compete against Saskatchewan Junior’s top talent.
Importance of the Winter Solstice Swim Meet
"This swim meet offers swimmers an opportunity to compete in December, which is often referred to as a peak month in the swim season's competitive cycle," explained Jennifer Robinson, the Head Development Coach. She emphasized that the meet provides an invaluable experience for developing swimmers, allowing them to showcase their progress after the first training phase and setting the stage for future challenges in the season.
