Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club Hosts Inaugural Little Caesars Fun Meet: A Night of Racing and Revelry

The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club is thrilled to announce the inaugural Little Caesars Fun Meet – Friday Night at the Races, kicking off the 2025-2026 swim season. This vibrant event, set for December 5, 2025, promises an evening filled with excitement and camaraderie, particularly for the club’s youngest swimmers.
This unique competition aims to blend the spirit of friendly rivalry with joy, as Junior Goldfins swimmers from Bronze, Silver, Gold, Goldfins W3, B1, B2, and SwimFIT levels showcase their skills and strive to achieve personal bests. The meet is designed not only to test their abilities but to celebrate their dedication and progress in the sport.
Adding an extra layer of enthusiasm, the meet will feature bell heat prizes and door prize packs, ensuring that every participant has the chance to leave with more than just memories. The generosity of Lana Niro, who continues to sponsor the Junior Goldfins Program, is deeply appreciated. Additionally, the event will be highlighted by the provision of pizza for over 210 swimmers and volunteers, courtesy of Lana Makari, adding a delicious touch of “pizzazz” to the proceedings.
The schedule for the meet is as follows:
Swimmer Arrival on Deck:
Bronze: 5:30 PM
Silver, Gold, W3, B1, B2, SwimFIT: 5:15 PM
Warm-Up & Group Meetings: 5:30 PM
Competition Start: 6:00 PM
It is important for pre-registered swimmers to attend; any absences should be reported promptly to avoid disruptions to the schedule. The deadline for scratches is set for December 3, 2025, at 6:30 PM.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the families who have registered their children for the meet. Your support and involvement are crucial to the success and smooth operation of the event. Additionally, we extend our gratitude to the parents volunteering to officiate; your contribution is invaluable.
Parents and spectators are kindly asked to occupy designated seating in the mezzanine bleachers, as on-deck seating is not permitted. Meet information and results will be accessible via the Meet Mobile App and the Goldfins’ social media platforms.
