Goldfins Swimmers Are Prepared and Excited to Compete in the Michelle Moore Invitational
The anticipation is building as the Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club prepares to make a splash at the 13th Annual Michelle Moore Invitational Swim Meet. Set to take place from May 9 to 11, 2025, at the Lawson Aquatic Centre in Regina, SK, this prestigious event promises to be a thrilling showcase of talent and determination.
A Stellar Lineup
This year, the Goldfins will be represented by an impressive contingent of 72 swimmers, each ready to dive into a total of 469 individual events. The meet will feature a combination of timed finals, preliminaries, and finals, ensuring a dynamic and competitive atmosphere.
Coaching Insight
Head Age Group Coach, Gary Cheung, shared his thoughts on the significance of the upcoming meet: “Our swimmers are excited to race and to represent the Goldfins. They will be showcasing the hard work they have been putting in.” Coach Cheung highlighted the diverse goals of the athletes, with some aiming to assess their progress since their last competition, while others are striving to achieve faster time standards to potentially qualify for the Canada Games. “Regardless, we are ready to compete and to cheer everyone on,” he added.
