Goldfins October 2024 Swimmers of the Month

Cori has shown significant progress in her Freestyle stroke execution by increasing her underwater kick streamline transition. - 400M Freestyle Kick: Reduced time by 4.0%, with a decrease of 18 seconds, achieving a time of 7:12.91.
- Dive Start T 15M: Improved by 6.6%, cutting down 0.59 seconds, reaching a time of 8.31.

Atticus Mowat (B3) -Atticus Mowat continued where he left off last season as the most improved swimmer. He started the season with some ambitious goals which he has been making steady progress on.
At the recent Golfins Invitational, he made big time drop in 6 of 7 events. Most impressive was his performance in the 100 Fly, the last event of the meet. Feeling the effects of 13 races over the duration of the meet, he was presented him with an opportunity to push his limits. He dropped 7.6 seconds to knocking on his AA cut in the event and reaffirming that his determination and focus will result in hitting his goals..
The attention and commitment to training make Atticus the October swimmer of the month. Congratulations Atticus.
