Goldfins Gear Up for Winter Solstice Showdown: A Weekend of Racing Excellence

November 27, 2025

The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club swimmers will be competing in the first of five meets that the Goldfins will be competing in, over the next three weeks.  The Regina Optimist Dolphins will be hosting the Winter Solstice Meet – November 29 & 30, 2025 – Regina, SK.  The Goldfins will be represented by 74 swimmers who will compete in 502 individual events and in 15 relay events.

Reed Aspen, Coach of the Saskatoon Goldfins Blue 2, expressed enthusiasm for their upcoming competition: “B2 is excited for another opportunity to showcase our abilities away from the home pool. These past few weeks, we have been hard at work focusing on race-specific skills, and we're expecting a wave of personal bests, qualifying times, and podium placements as we attack our starts, turns, and finishes. Let's go Gold!'”
