A Record-breaking Weekend for Goldfins Masters at CSS Masters Racing Series #3

Goldfins Masters competed at Craven Sports Services Masters Racing Series on February 1, 2025. Our 22 Goldfins Masters swimmers posted 33 personal best times and 6 individual Provincial Records.
Heather Hynes broke one SCM Provincial record in 45-49 age category in 50M Breaststroke with a posted time of 39.06.
Denise Gilewicz broke three SCM Provincial records in 60-64 age category in 50M Breaststroke with a posted time of 45.03, 100M Breaststroke with a posted time of 1:40.33 and 50M Freestyle with a posted time of 34.03.
Braeden Newton broke one SCM Provincial records in 30-34 age category in 100M Individual Medley with a posted time of 1:04.09.
Chad Hankewich broke one SCM Provincial records in 40-44 age category in 100M Butterfly with a posted time of 1:05.77
The CSS Masters Racing Series was also served as a test event for the upcoming Speedo Canadian Masters Swimming Championships (May 16 - 18, 2025). The dual tanks setup was successful and swimmers were able to watch racing in two tanks at the same time. This meet also has the highest attended Goldfins Masters swimmers ever.
