2024 Prairie Winter International Goldfins Post Meet Report
The Goldfins Swim Club had a very successful showing at the 2024 Prairie Winter International (PWI). Goldfins swimmers brought home 41 medals and posted numerous personal best times throughout this exciting championship weekend.

The Goldfins posted 73 new Senior and Junior Provincial Short Course Time Standards. This impressive achievement highlights the dedication and hard work of the swimmers and their coaching staff. The Goldfins Swim Club celebrated, as Gillian Grayston, Lauren Russell, Will Sothilingam, and Sienna Weber are eligible to compete in the 2025 Man/SK Short Course Championships. A big cheer for Zahra Gokavi Bailey who posted her first AA Short Course Time Standard in the 200M Individual Medley event, posting a personal best time of 2:42.59.

This weekend, the Goldfins Swim Club is competing in Edmonton, AB, at the 2024 J.P. Fiset Invitational, taking place from December 12 to 15, 2024.
